Southwest Texas Junior College President Dr. Hector Gonzales announced the First State Bank's Scholarship recipients for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022. Ashley Garcia received the FSB Governor Dolph Briscoe Scholarship, and Nataly Santos was awarded the FSB John Nance Garner Memorial Scholarship.

President and CEO of First State Bank of Uvalde, Chad D. Stary, and SWTJC President Hector Gonzales presented scholarships to Uvalde High School graduates Ariana Perez and Samantha Zamarippa for the 2019-2020 Fall semester.
